CanSoMe Oy is a finnish startup located in Loimaa
with office in the beautiful old Loimaa Train Station.
The founder and currently only employee is Timo Suonpää.
Timo founded cansome Oy already in 2022, with the idea of "project social media" - a social media for projects...
The idea then evolved into a productivity social media (which still is kind of the end goal here, but it's a longer story).
And then after realizing that we actually need a web builder in order to do all the planned web apps and functionalities, the decision was made to first launch that - a web builder for web sites.
The actual coding for the platform didn't start until late 2024.
The first public mention (an ask for test clients) for it was made in a finnish entrepreneurs group in Facebook at the end of february 2025 which immediatelly lead to our first two clients.
With the experience from the two initial clients, Timo wanted the platform to be more from the start, to be something different than just another web builder like Wix, Framer and the likes. So he added automatic email setup and kept developing the underlying system into one where you can create a new application by just defining it's data and doing a simple (guided) mapping to UI components. This also fulfills the original plans very well.
And so the Application Platform was born with an initial offering as a "Digital Start" -package that has the Web Builder, emails and even some basic CRM features.
And here we are now.
Timo has an extensive work history in both software and system design and entrepreneurship.

Ever since summer 2001, Timo has been working with different software development tasks in manufacturing, invoicing, 3D design, backup, ecommerce and more.
Timo has worked as software engineer, senior software engineer, CTO and without a title designing and implementing whole systems from zero to production (online backup solution, webshop with POS & warehouse integrations etc...).
Timo's first business was a DJ (sound and lights) company with friends in the start of the 1990s.
The second was software development company started in 2004.
And then in 2009 Timo was a founding partner in Nexetic Oy, a company that still offers online backup solutions.
After leaving Nexetic, Timo founded Suonpää Yhtiöt Oy which had several different branches. One branch (webshop with later brick & mortar stores) experienced fast growth from zero to 10 employees and close to 800k€ in sales. Unfortunately that branch also experienced a downfall back to almost zero. Which was a really great learning process (not so great from other aspects).
After the failure, Timo worked a short while as CTO and then did subcontracting for a product lead -type of position and then for some time as a SEO expert. All these involved hands on coding tasks alongside with the upper level responsibilities.
Simultaneously with the SEO tasks, Timo finally started actually building the cansome W3B platform combining all the knowledge from the past two decades into it.
