Cansome started as a way to move work forward.

Timo Suonpää has worked in software since 2001. The work ran through manufacturing, invoicing, backup, and ecommerce, in roles as an engineer and as a CTO. The pattern was the same: a company had the facts of the work in one place and the next step in another.

Cansome started in 2022 as an idea for a social network built around projects. People would share the work, run it on a track, and ask for help where it was stuck. A network like that needs a home on the web, so the website product came first. Coding of the current platform started in late 2024.

Sites is what you can start today. We build a paid site with you, and you edit it after that. Boss is the office workspace, open to pilot clients: attendance, billable time, and an invoice, priced by the seat. Social, the original network, is coming soon. Sales, a pipeline that can hand a won deal to Boss, is coming later.
