After the first version is published, the owner changes a phone number, a sentence, or a photo in a slot and publishes. Cansome Sites writes static HTML. The privacy page and the cookie page follow the company details.
The expensive moment in a small website is not the launch. It is the Tuesday when the phone number changes and the only person who can edit the page is a developer. The site then goes stale, or every correction becomes an invoice.
On Cansome Sites the design is imported as HTML and the words and pictures live in slots. An editor opens the field, replaces the number, and publishes. The layout stays the one that was built. Shared headers, footers, and menus update from one place.
Publish is a static build. The live site is files, so a content change does not require rebuilding the page in a browser-based canvas full of nested boxes. There is a publish history when you need the previous version.
Legal pages follow the same company details. Change the address or the email in those details and the privacy page and the cookie page can refresh on the next publish. You still read them. The generator does not replace a decision about which records you keep.
Domain email is on Professional. The contact form is on Starter and Professional. The one-page site on free.cansome.com is the tryout: one page, import included, with a Created with Cansome Sites link.
During this campaign the first build is included in the paid subscription, setup fee €0, for the next 10 sites. After that the owner is the person who updates the site. That is the point of the slots.
A good test is the footer phone number. If changing it means opening a ticket, the site is still rented. If changing it means one field and a publish, the site is yours to run. Cansome Sites is built for the second.
Images follow the same path. You upload once. The system makes versions that load quickly and keeps language-specific alt text. You can see where an image is used before you replace it. Stock photos chosen in the builder are downloaded into the site, with attribution, so the live page does not depend on the stock site staying up.
Multi-language updates use a checklist. A missing translation or an image still carrying the other language’s alt text is listed. URLs stay understandable per language.
The contact form is on Starter and Professional. Domain mail is part of Professional. The one-page site on free.cansome.com does not include that inbox. When you outgrow the single page, Starter adds the domain and the form, and Professional adds the room for a full set of pages.
Preview before you publish. The editor shows the page with the current words so you can catch a broken sentence or a photo in the wrong language. Publish history is there when a change should be reverted. You do not need a developer for that revert.
Editors and viewers can be invited. Daily updates stay in the fields. The design stays the one that was imported or built in the campaign. That split is the whole product: the person who knows the phone number can change the phone number, and the layout does not move under them.
Teams use the same fields. One person can be invited to change text. Another can look without publishing. The rights are simple because the dangerous part, the layout, is not what they edit. That is also why a campaign build is worth it: a person who knows the business sets the first design, and the people who answer the phone keep the facts current. You do not reopen a project for a new opening hour. You change the slot and publish. Static HTML goes out. The previous publish remains in the history if the new sentence was wrong.
Finnish and English stay in step through the checklist. When you add a sentence in one language, the other language shows the gap. You fill it or you leave the page unpublished until you do. The URL for each language stays readable. That is the update habit the product is for, after the first ten campaign sites are built.
Invite the person who answers the phone. They change the slot. You publish, or they publish if you gave them that right. The design from the campaign stays. That is the whole habit: a fact changes in the business, and the same day it changes on the site. Static HTML is what visitors receive. The editor is what you keep.
Cansome Oy is the company behind the product, business ID 3328471-6, in Loimaa, Finland. Product data is hosted in Europe. The prices on this page are VAT 0. The next step is on this page: the form asks for the site, or the privacy tool creates the draft. You do not need another explanation page in between.
