What a small business website includes

A small business website needs a name, an offer, an audience, a way to get in touch, a business ID where the law expects it, a privacy notice, and a page that loads. Cansome Sites starts with one page on yourname.free.cansome.com and puts a full site on Professional.

A visitor decides in a few seconds whether the company is real and whether to write. The page that does that work names the business, says what it offers, says who it is for, and gives one next step: a call, a form, or a visit. A business ID belongs on a Finnish company site. A privacy notice belongs there too, because the site, the form, and the inbox process personal data.

The one-page start on Cansome Sites is a real site at yourname.free.cansome.com. Import is included. The published page carries a Created with Cansome Sites link. It is one page and 10 MB. Your own domain and a contact form are on Starter and Professional.

A full service site is usually a home page, a service page, a contact page, a privacy page, and a cookie page. That is five pages. Each language counts, so Finnish and English are ten. Starter includes three pages. Professional has no page cap, which is why the paid campaign defaults to Professional at €20 / month or €200 / year, VAT 0.

On a Sites subscription the privacy page and the cookie page come from the same company details. In Finnish they are /tietosuoja and /evasteet. Otherwise they are /privacy and /cookies. They refresh when you publish. You can draft the notice today, with no account, at the privacy-notice tool, then review the name, the business ID, and the records.

The page also has to load. Sites publishes static HTML, so the visitor gets the page without a builder running on each request. Images are prepared for the web. Shared headers stay the same when you change one menu.

What you can leave until later is a shop and a reservation calendar. Both are on the roadmap. The site you can publish now is the one that explains the work and lets someone reach you. Design and build of that site are included in a paid plan for the next 10 sites, setup fee €0. After that you change the words and pictures yourself.

Put the business ID where a Finnish reader expects a real company, usually the footer, next to the address. The contact path should be one action: a form, a phone number, or a visit. A second action can sit in the text. A row of equal buttons makes the page harder to use on a phone.

Photos should be of the work or the place. Stock can fill a gap, and Cansome Sites can pull stock into the asset library so the published page does not hotlink. Alt text belongs in the language of that page. A Finnish page with an English-only description of the image is a miss the visibility checklist can flag.

If you sell in two languages, write the second language as its own pages. Each of those pages counts. That is why the campaign asks for Professional when the site includes a privacy page and a cookie page in Finnish and English.

A map, opening hours, and a short note about who answers the phone belong on the contact page when they are true. Leave off a chat widget you will not staff. The promise of the page is the thing a person can actually do next. On Cansome Sites that next step is usually the contact form on a paid plan, or the phone number you place in a slot.

Structured headings help a person scan on a phone and help an answer engine quote the right sentence. One H1 states the offer. The first paragraph repeats it in plain words: who you help, where you work, and how to start. The rest of the page proves it with the services, the photos, and the facts. That is the shape of the sites in this campaign.

Associations have the same shape with different words. The home page says who the association is for. A second page can list activities or membership. The contact page says where to write. The privacy page still belongs, because a membership form is personal data. A one-page site on yourname.free.cansome.com can carry the introduction. The full set, including the privacy page and the cookie page, fits Professional. During this campaign that set is built for you, setup fee €0, for the next 10 sites, and you edit it after.

Cansome Oy is the company behind the product, business ID 3328471-6, in Loimaa, Finland. Product data is hosted in Europe. The prices on this page are VAT 0. The next step is on this page: the form asks for the site, or the privacy tool creates the draft. You do not need another explanation page in between.
